Day 1: Casablanca – Marrakech
Your journey begins with a morning transfer from Casablanca to Marrakech. After settling in, immerse yourself in the Medina’s rich history with a local guide. Explore the iconic Koutoubia Mosque, the lavish Bahia Palace, and lose yourself in the labyrinthine souks of Djemma el-Fna Square. Day 2: Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley
After breakfast, traverse the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass at 2260 meters. Explore the UNESCO-listed Ait Benhaddou, a stunning kasbah that has graced many film sets. Continue to Ouarzazate, known as the gateway to the Sahara, passing through the lush Skoura Valley and the fragrant Valley of Roses. Day 3: Dades Gorges – Todra Gorge – Merzouga
Today, venture deeper into Morocco’s natural wonders. Begin with a visit to Todra Gorge, where sheer limestone cliffs tower above, creating a breathtaking canyon. Pass through Tinghir and Erfoud, stopping to explore fossil factories and local museums. Arrive at Merzouga, gateway to the Sahara Desert, where you'll embark on a camel trek to a luxury desert camp. Enjoy a traditional dinner and immerse yourself in Berber hospitality under a starlit sky.
Day 4: Merzouga Desert Experience – Rissani – Merzouga
Awaken early to witness the sunrise over the dunes, a spectacle not to be missed. After breakfast, explore the desert’s nomadic way of life and enjoy traditional Gnawa music. Visit the ancient town of Rissani, explore its historical sites, and wander through the vibrant local souk. Return to Merzouga for relaxation at a comfortable auberge with a swimming pool.
Day 5: Merzouga – Fes
Depart Merzouga, passing through scenic landscapes including the Ziz Valley and the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop at picturesque viewpoints, encounter Barbary macaques in the cedar forests of Azrou, and visit Ifran, known as Morocco's Switzerland. Continue to Fes, stopping by landmarks like Al-Khawayn University and Imouzzer Kandar. Arrive in Fes and settle into your riad for the night.
Day 6: Fes – Meknes – Casablanca
In Fes, delve into the ancient medina with visits to a ceramics factory and the famous leather tanneries. Later, journey to Meknes to explore its historic highlights before returning to Casablanca, marking the end of your enriching Moroccan adventure.
