Day 01: Arrival in Marrakech
Upon arrival at Marrakech Menara Airport, our friendly driver will greet you and transfer you to your charming riad in the heart of the city. Take some time to settle in and immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of Marrakech. You can explore the bustling main square of Jemaa el-Fnaa and wander through the labyrinthine souks, where the sights, sounds, and aromas will captivate your senses. Overnight stay in Marrakech.
Day 02: Marrakech Guided Tour
Today, embark on a full-day private guided tour of Marrakech, starting with the iconic Koutoubia Mosque, a masterpiece of Moorish architecture. Explore the lively Medina with its bustling souks filled with artisans and merchants selling everything from spices to carpets. Discover the historic Ali Ben Youssef Madrasa, an ancient Islamic college, and delve into the opulent Bahia Palace with its intricate stucco and mosaic work. Stroll through the serene Majorelle Gardens, designed by the French artist Jacques Majorelle, known for its vibrant cobalt-blue buildings and exotic plants. Return to your riad for another night in Marrakech.
Day 03: Marrakech - High Atlas Mountains - Ait Benhaddou - Ouarzazate - Dades Valley
Departing Marrakech at 08:00, journey through the majestic High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi-n-Tichka pass, offering panoramic views of the rugged terrain. Pause to visit the UNESCO-listed Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, an ancient fortified village perched on a hilltop with breathtaking desert vistas. Enjoy a leisurely lunch near the Kasbah before continuing to Ouarzazate, known as the "Gateway to the Sahara." Explore the historic Kasbah Taourirt and perhaps visit the Atlas Film Studios, where many famous movies have been filmed. Journey onward through the enchanting Valley of Roses and reach Dades Gorges, where you will spend the night in a cozy hotel nestled amidst the stunning landscapes.
Day 04: Dades Valley - Todra Gorges - Erfoud - Merzouga (Erg Chebbi Desert)
After a delicious breakfast overlooking the rugged Dades Valley, depart towards Todra Gorges, where the sheer cliffs rise dramatically above you, creating a spectacular natural wonder. Take a leisurely stroll under the towering red cliffs, a favorite spot for rock climbers. Journey through the oasis town of Erfoud, known for its fossil finds and unique desert landscapes. Arrive in Merzouga, on the edge of the Erg Chebbi Desert, where you will be warmly welcomed with traditional mint tea at your desert hotel. Check-in and unwind, perhaps taking a refreshing dip in the pool before dinner. Tonight, enjoy the tranquility of the desert under a blanket of stars.
day 05: Merzouga - Marrakech
It will be a special day, you will wake up early morning for the sunrise view and then come back to the camp to take your breakfast and make yourself ready to the transfer to Marrakech via high atlas mountains.
