Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca – Rabat – Assilah
Upon arrival at Casablanca Airport, meet your driver guide and embark on your 11-day Moroccan adventure. Begin with a visit to the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, Africa’s largest mosque. Afterward, travel to Rabat, the capital city. Explore landmarks such as the Hassan Tower and Oudaya Kasbah. Continue to Assilah, known for its artistic flair and Atlantic views. Check into your hotel or riad for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Assilah – Tangier – Chefchaouen
After breakfast, explore Assilah's charming streets and the Skalla fortress. Then, journey to Tangier, known for its unique blend of cultures. Visit Hercules Caves and Cap Spartel before continuing through the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen, the famous "Blue City." Spend the night in a riad nestled within the medina’s blue alleys.
Day 3: Discovering Chefchaouen
Today, immerse yourself in Chefchaouen’s distinctive blue-hued architecture. Wander through the medina’s picturesque streets, visit Plaza Uta El-Hammam, and explore the ancient Kasbah Ali Ben Rachid. Enjoy stunning views from the Spanish Mosque at sunset before returning to your riad.
Day 4: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes
Depart Chefchaouen and journey through the Rif Mountains to Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its Roman ruins. Continue to Meknes, an imperial city. Explore attractions such as Bab Mansour Gate and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. In the afternoon, drive to Fes and overnight in a traditional riad.
Day 5: Exploring Fes
Discover the cultural richness of Fes, Morocco’s spiritual and intellectual heart. Visit the medieval medina, the Jewish Quarter, and the exquisite tanneries. Explore historic sites such as Kairaouine Mosque, Al-Attarine Madrassa, and the vibrant souks. Enjoy panoramic views of Fes El-Bali before returning to your riad.
Day 6: Fes – Ifrane – Merzouga
Leave Fes and traverse the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, known as "Little Switzerland," and see the Cedar Forest near Azrou. Continue through scenic landscapes to Merzouga, gateway to the Sahara Desert. Experience the dramatic shift in scenery as you approach Erg Chebbi’s golden sand dunes. Overnight in a local hotel or riad.
Day 7: Sahara Desert Experience
Embark on a desert adventure exploring Khamliya village, the black desert, and meeting a nomadic Berber family. Enjoy a camel trek into the dunes to a luxury desert camp. Experience a magical sunset over the Sahara, followed by dinner and traditional music under the stars.
Day 8: Merzouga – Tinghir – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley
Witness a spectacular sunrise over the dunes before returning to Merzouga. Journey through Rissani and Tinghir to explore the breathtaking Todra Gorge and its towering cliffs. Continue to Dades Valley for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.
Day 9: Dades Valley – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech
Depart Dades Valley and drive through the Valley of Roses to Ouarzazate. Visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Journey through the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi N’tichka pass to Marrakech. Enjoy the evening in a riad within the medina.
Day 10: Marrakech Exploration
Explore Marrakech, the "Red City," starting with Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian Tombs, and Bahia Palace. Discover the vibrant souks and Djemaa El-Fna square, alive with performers and local delicacies. Enjoy free time to explore or relax before an overnight stay in your riad.
Day 11: Departure from Marrakech
After breakfast, transfer to Casablanca Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your 11-day Morocco adventure.
